I believe that DA is a unique place. Besides giving an opportunity to the artists to show their work and become famous, it gives an opportunity for artists-wannabe (like me) to learn from the experienced artist. There are numerous tutorials, textures, and stock on DA that I am going to put to the test.

I am going to paint a simple character in photoshop using the tutorials that I would find on the subject. I want to see how useful DA resources are to the artists with average talent like myself.

1. I decided that character is going to be female (just because i am less familliar with male anatomy)

I never thought about body weight in any of my drawings, but something trivial as this can make drawings more realistic. Don't you think so?

I hit couple of chalenges with this as I expected. I believe without chalenges there would not be any growth... so i am grateful for it kinda...

1. the first step was to draw skeleton model with all the proportions. It wasn't too hard, however now looking at it I notice couple of mistakes.

2. after I drew simple body shape... and started to notice more and more mistakes as went farther

3. Finaly i dressed her in a dress that I like (want one like this for myself)
